Betty Barclay Spring / Summer 2012

The fashion message for 2012 is: show your true colours! Rich colours are in the spotlight in the Betty Barclay Spring / Summer Collection – but always in combination with neutral shades.

The new Betty Barclay Collection is full of colour, with rich, clear colours at the heart. “Cranberry“ opens the show when it comes to reds, which run through the season in all sort of variants. Even black takes on a new, lighter look when used in combination with “Light Biscuit”. “Raspberry“ heralds the spring and is easy to combine with “Dusty Reed“ and “Bright Reed“.“Tropical Green“ and “Water Blue“ show classic navy in a new light. A touch of white adds freshness. Pastels such as “Cloud Blue“ and “Rose Bloom“ are right on trend with green-tinged neutrals. White is unbeatably fresh with “Indigo Blue“ and “Lime Light“.

Sandwich_ Autumn Winter Collection 2011

Autumn crush (available from July)
Back on the block from the summertime heat, you follow the irresistible call of the city while indulging in memories and opening up to new dreams. Tops, tunics and skirts have autumn red flowers on fine netting that combine casually or elegantly. Red brightens soft neutral tones for an undeniably feminine city appeal. Grab a colourful cardigan and you’re ready to go! Blouses are back, combining perfectly with slim trouser-style leggings. Tiny checks and flowers balance the sturdy side pockets of the treggings, creating a look that’s comfortable, easy and casual. Add a blazer in leather or jersey and hit the road. For a more special look, try Ikat flowers on draping fabrics or graphite blue with lovely embroidered detailing.

Timeless and textures (available from August)
As the first leaves start to fall from the trees, you relax in warm and deliciously comfortable layers that are both feminine and easy to wear. Playful stripe combinations and chunky knits are ideal to help you unwind in casual comfort and style. Be the first in line for the blazer’s return. Longer jacket styles are ideal for layering over long blouses and tunics, and cargo-inspired treggings complete the look. A touch of navy in colour and stripes brings you back on duty, mixing romantic influences with casual pieces for the ultimate autumn style. Well-loved tunics have textured tape details, while an open-knit cardigan in fine wool is the perfect topper. Crushed zigzag jacquard in deep tones of winter red melt into a long red cardigan matched with a pair of red boots. Preparing for the cold weather is a breeze with Sandwich’s variety of beautifully styled coats and jackets that cross the entire collection in rich combinations including a smart tweed coat, a rain-speckled down jacket and a simple and classic faux-lammy jacket.

Classic twi st (available from September)
The look for Fall is classic with a twist. Think overdyed long blazers, jersey chinos and tweed-effect sweats. Check out constructed skirts with raw edges in combination with an anthracite mélange poncho. The season’s must-have look is grey denim, whether in jeggings, skinnies or detailed jeans, combine with knit tunics for an easy yet elegant look. Cobalt gives a jolt of electricity to grey cloud patterns with a tactile feel.
